Free TV app in the palm of your hand!
If you want to turn your Smart TV or mobile phone into an entertainment centre without paying anything, this text is for you. There are several free TV apps that operate legally, with a good variety of live channels, movies, series, sports and news — all of this without having to put your hand in your pocket.
And we're not talking about pirated apps, no. They are serious, reliable and 100% free platforms, available in most official stores (Google Play, App Store, Amazon, etc.). With them, you can watch everything without a subscription, credit card, or trial period.
1# Pluto TV
Pluto TV is one of the most popular and widely used free apps worldwide. It's owned by Paramount and offers an incredible number of live channels—over 100 options, including:
- Movies 24 hours a day
- Complete series (Naruto, South Park, CSI, etc.)
- Comedy, cooking, reality show channels
- Children's content
- And even sports and documentary channels
In addition to channels, the app also has a tab with movies and series on demand, like a kind of Netflix — but for free. It's available for Smart TVs, mobile phones, computers, Fire TV Stick and Roku.

And yes, it is completely free, without the need to create an account. You can download it at Smart TVs, Android and iOS phones, Amazon Fire Stick, Apple TV and even consoles like Xbox.

5# Samsung TV Plus
Samsung TV users have a bonus: the Samsung TV Plus. It is a native app that is already installed on many of the brand's TVs, offering free live channels, focusing on:
- Entertainment
- Classic series
- Reality shows
- International news
- Sports and lifestyle
You don't need to download anything or create an account. Just turn on your TV and go. It also works on some Samsung phones with updated Android.
If you use Samsung TV, it's worth exploring.
6# LG Channels
Just as Samsung has TV Plus, LG also has its own free channels app: LG Channels. And it is also native, that is, it is already pre-installed on many LG Smart TV models.
LG Channels offers:
- Live movie, series and music channels
- International variety, with programming in several languages
- Interface very similar to traditional pay TV
It's a great option for those who have an LG and want instant access to open and themed channels, without having to download an external app or register.
Do these apps work in any country?
Availability, channels and catalogues vary by country and device. Check each service's current local offering.
Check regional availability and the service's terms before watching. A free service can still have geographical, catalogue and device restrictions.
