In 2012, the private equity fund Carlyle Group acquired 85% of the company's shares, gaining majority control of the company.

There are four positions available in various regions. However, all positions are temporary for Children's Day and Christmas, which is when stores have the most sales. However, this does not mean the company cannot offer permanent positions after a certain period. Furthermore, there is no requirement for prior experience in the field, only a completed high school education, availability to work weekends, and good communication skills. Benefits offered include transportation allowance and food or meal allowance.

About Ri Happy
The company's history dates back to 1988, when a pediatrician and an administrator decided to join forces, sharing a common dream. They don't know it yet, but this is the beginning of a journey that will change not only the Brazilian toy market, but also the way parents play with their children and the lives of millions of children over the decades.
However, in the early years, when there were only four toy stores and the economy was weak, one of the owners gave up the pharmaceutical industry and dedicated himself to the business. He studied the market and created the Ri Happy concept: going to the store has to be a walk. Spaces were created to try out toys, entertainment, children's magazines, and even topics related to children, such as vaccines.
Thus, Ri Happy Toys was born. The adventure of this fantastic duo has been a great success, all thanks to our hard work and the satisfaction of our customers. Now, more than 30 years after the first dream, they have over 270 stores and franchises in Brazil, various sales channels, and more than 3,000 employees obsessed with games and dreams come true.
