About Quero-Quero Stores
They opened their first store in 1967 in Rio Grande do Sul. With courage and hard work, they grew and continue to bring ever-increasing quality to families in this state. Their goal from the beginning was to be there for people, whether in the countryside or the city. In the 1980s, they brought together their portfolio of construction materials, appliances, and furniture, becoming known for offering complete solutions to their consumers. In the 1990s, they took another bold leap: adding a financial services business. The model worked, and in the 2000s it was expanded and finally consolidated.
In 2008, the company was acquired by the private equity fund Advent International. With this change, the administrative center was transferred to the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre. Always wanting to go further, in 2010 they reached the southern states, expanding their presence throughout the South. Also in that decade, they launched the Palavra Program, becoming the only retailer in the country to guarantee products free of charge in case of delivery delays.
The year 2020 was marked by IPOs on the Brazilian stock exchange, one of the greatest achievements in the entity's more than 50-year history. In August 2021, they inaugurated their new office in the Midwest and their first store in São Paulo. Due to their tireless efforts since the beginning of the school year, they initiated another historic milestone on this great track. They combined physical and virtual retail to offer endless opportunities to their customers.
