The looting of the PIS/Pasep 2025 will be released to millions of workers, but not everyone is eligible for the benefit. If you worked with a formal contract, you may be eligible for the benefit.

But how do you know if you can actually withdraw? The answer is simple: it depends on your length of service, income, and the accuracy of your data in the system.

What is PIS/Pasep?

PIS (Social Integration Program) and Pasep (Public Servant Asset Formation Program) are benefits created to ensure that workers in the private and public sectors have access to a salary bonus.

PIS is intended for private sector workers and is administered by Caixa Econômica Federal. Pasep is intended for public sector workers and is paid by Banco do Brasil.

Every year, the government releases withdrawals to those who meet certain requirements. In 2025, payments will continue to follow the established rules, with staggered dates based on the worker's birth month.

Who is entitled to withdraw PIS/Pasep 2025?

To be eligible to withdraw PIS/Pasep in 2025, you must meet certain criteria:

  • Have worked with a signed contract for at least 30 days in 2023;
  • Have received up to two minimum wages on average monthly in 2023;
  • Be registered with PIS/Pasep for at least five years;
  • Have the data correctly entered by the employer in the RAIS (Annual Social Information Report) or in eSocial.

If you meet these requirements, you are likely eligible to withdraw your PIS/Pasep in 2025.

How do I check if I am eligible?

PIS/Pasep checks can be completed quickly and online. Here's how:

  • PIS (private company workers): access the Caixa Tem app, the Caixa Econômica Federal website or call 0800 726 0207.
  • Pasep (public servants): check on the Banco do Brasil website or app, or call 0800 729 0001.
  • Another option is to access the Gov.br portal and check the “Salary Bonus” tab.

When accessing, enter your CPF or Social Identification Number (NIS) and follow the instructions.

What is the value of PIS/Pasep 2025?

The salary bonus amount is proportional to the time worked in the base year (2023). The calculation is based on the minimum wage in effect in 2025. If the minimum wage is R$1,500, for example, the payment will follow this table:

  • 1 month worked: R$ 125.00
  • 6 months worked: R$ 750.00
  • 12 months worked: R$ 1,500.00 (full amount)

Payment is made according to length of service, ensuring that those who have worked longer receive a higher amount.

How to withdraw?

Withdrawals can be made in different ways:

  • PIS: Those who receive money through Caixa can withdraw it through the Caixa Tem app, transfer it to another account, or withdraw it from ATMs and lottery outlets using the Citizen Card.
  • Pasep: Those who have a Banco do Brasil account receive the funds directly into their account. Otherwise, you can transfer funds to another account or withdraw them at a branch.

Payment schedule

The government releases an official calendar every year, based on the worker's birth month (PIS) or registration number (PASEP). Payments are expected to occur between February and July 2025. Once the dates are released, it's important to stay alert so you don't miss the deadline.

What should I do if I don't receive PIS/Pasep?

If you believe you are eligible and payment has not been made, check:

  • If your data is correct in RAIS/eSocial;
  • If you have met all the requirements;
  • If the payment is still within the deadline set in the calendar.

If you have any problems, contact Caixa or Banco do Brasil to resolve them.

The 2025 PIS/Pasep withdrawal can be a financial relief for many workers. If you meet the criteria, check your balance and secure the benefit. Pay attention to the calendar, keep your information updated, and, if necessary, seek guidance to avoid missing the deadline. This money can make a difference in your budget!
