On November 26, 1951, a new chapter began to take shape in the cooperative movement in Santa Catarina. At that time, 21 employees of the Hering Company formed the Hering Organizations Credit Cooperative, then known as Credi Hering and later Viacredi.
The cooperative, chaired by the company's leader and our number one member Ingo Hering for 16 years, embarked on a journey of achievements and challenges aimed at transforming the regions in which it operates, providing members with accessible and economical financial solutions.
In 2009, the company reached 100,000 members and released over 700 million reais to its associates in terms of credit. That same year, the cooperative held its first commercial showcase. Last year, the cooperative celebrated its 70th anniversary with over 700,000 members and assets of R$8 billion, with the opening of its 100th service center in the Xaxim community of Curitiba.
The Extraordinary General Meeting (AGE) approved the possibility of holding meetings in digital format, expanding this to 15 more cities in the metropolitan region of Curitiba/PR, as well as the possibility of admitting members throughout the national territory.
