But converted to reais, it represents <strong>more than R$ 20 thousand monthly<\/strong>For Brazilians, it&#039;s an excellent salary. For foreign companies, it&#039;s a good deal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3# <strong>Remote work is no longer an exception<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the pandemic, working from home became the norm in many areas. Technology allows people to work from anywhere in the world\u2014which has opened doors for Brazilians in the global market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4# <strong>Brazilians are well-educated and resilient<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brazilian IT professionals have strong technical skills, learn quickly, speak English, and adapt well to new environments. In some cases, there are also bonuses, 13th salary and additional benefits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How are Brazilians being hired?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Hiring takes place through <strong>international platforms<\/strong> or referrals. Foreign companies create service provision contracts with Brazilians as legal entities (MEI or LTDA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some platforms that connect Brazilian talent with international vacancies:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Turing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deel<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>RemoteOK<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Upwork<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Andela<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>VanHack<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Revelo (international)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These platforms help with bureaucracy, payments and even issuing contracts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, many Brazilians get opportunities <strong>via LinkedIn<\/strong> \u2014 keeping the profile in English and showcasing relevant projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Do you need to be fluent in English?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes, in most cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You don&#039;t need to have a perfect accent, but you do need to <strong>understand and communicate clearly<\/strong>. Meetings, documents, tickets, and feedback are all in English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But if this is still a barrier for you, don&#039;t be discouraged. There are openings at Latino companies or companies that accept <strong>intermediate English<\/strong>And there are ways to improve your fluency without spending a lot \u2014 including free apps and virtual exchanges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">And what about the CLT?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When working for foreign companies, you act as <strong>PJ (legal entity)<\/strong>. There is no employment contract or formal employment contract. Therefore, it is necessary to take care of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>issuance of invoice<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>payment of taxes (MEI or Simples Nacional)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>reserve for vacations, 13th salary and retirement<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>private health insurance<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>But with high salaries, many professionals are able to build up a financial reserve, invest better, and even afford international health insurance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What are the challenges?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite the advantages, it&#039;s not all sunshine and rainbows.
